Shipping Protection Policy

Overview

Shipping Protection is an optional, in-house service offered at checkout that provides limited coverage for packages that are lost, stolen, or damaged during transit. This service is managed internally and is not an insurance policy.

By purchasing Shipping Protection, you acknowledge and agree to all terms outlined below.


⚠️ Important Notice

Shipping Protection is the only method by which lost, stolen, or damaged packages may be eligible for replacement or compensation.

Orders placed without Shipping Protection are not eligible for replacement, reshipment, or reimbursement under any circumstances.


What’s Covered

Shipping Protection may cover the following, subject to verification and approval:

  • Lost in Transit
    Packages that do not reach their destination and are confirmed lost by the carrier.
  • Stolen After Delivery (Porch Theft)
    Packages marked as delivered but reported stolen from the delivery location.
  • Damaged in Transit
    Packages that arrive visibly damaged, impacting the contents.

What’s NOT Covered

Shipping Protection does not cover:

  • Incorrect, incomplete, or invalid shipping addresses provided by the customer
  • Packages marked as delivered to the address entered at checkout
  • Carrier delays, weather delays, or logistical delays
  • Orders returned to sender due to failed delivery attempts
  • Seizures, holds, or interference by carriers or third parties
  • Packages forwarded, redirected, or altered after shipment
  • Claims submitted outside of the required claim window
  • Orders flagged for suspicious, excessive, or abusive claim activity

Claim Requirements

To submit a claim, the following conditions must be met:

  • Claim must be submitted within 5 days of delivery (or last tracking update)
  • Order number and matching customer information must be provided
  • A detailed description of the issue must be included

Additional requirements may apply:

  • Damaged Orders: Clear photos of packaging, label, and contents required
  • Stolen Packages: Signed statement may be required
  • Lost Packages: May require confirmation period with the carrier before approval

Failure to provide required documentation may result in denial.


Claim Review & Approval

  • All claims are subject to manual review
  • We reserve the right to request additional verification at any time
  • Approval is granted at our sole discretion
  • Claims that appear fraudulent, abusive, or inconsistent with tracking data will be denied

Resolution

Approved claims will be resolved by one of the following methods:

  • Replacement shipment, or
  • Store credit equal to the purchase value

Refunds are not guaranteed and are issued only at our discretion.


Fraud Prevention & Abuse Policy

To protect against misuse:

  • We reserve the right to deny any claim suspected of fraud or abuse
  • Customers with multiple claims may be restricted from future coverage
  • Abuse of Shipping Protection may result in order cancellation or refusal of service

Chargeback & Dispute Policy

By purchasing Shipping Protection, you agree:

  • Not to file a chargeback for issues covered under this policy
  • To contact our support team to resolve any shipping-related issues

Filing a chargeback after receiving a resolution or while a claim is under review may result in:

  • Immediate denial of the claim
  • Permanent restriction from future purchases

Limitations

  • Shipping Protection applies only to the specific order purchased
  • Coverage is non-transferable and non-refundable
  • This service is a goodwill offering and does not guarantee resolution in all cases
